• Local Storage: When using the app without an account, your problem history is stored locally on your device in your browser's local storage and is not sent to external databases.
• Diagnostic & Telemetry Data: Standard technical information such as browser type, operating system, and error reports to maintain service uptime.

2. How We Use Information

We use the collected information solely for:

• Processing mathematical problems and providing step-by-step explanations and Computer Algebra System (CAS) verification.
• Syncing your chat history across your authorized devices if signed in.
• Improving application stability, speed, and accuracy.

3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We work with trusted infrastructure providers:

• Render: Cloud hosting infrastructure for the web application and API.
• Supabase: Secure cloud authentication and database management for signed-in users.
• Google OAuth: Optional third-party authentication provider.

4. Data Retention & User Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• You can clear your chat history at any time using the "Clear chat" button inside the app.
• You can sign out of your account at any time.

5. Children's Privacy

Mathy: AI Math Tutor is an educational tool designed for general audiences and students of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate parental or school consent.
